Strategic plan refresh and execution
Goals: Founded in 1968 by a parole officer who recognized the need for a support system to help the many alcoholics and addicts on his caseload, Integrity House has grown to be the largest nonprofit provider of addiction treatment services in the State of New Jersey. In order to be proactive to emerging opportunities and threats in the rapidly changing behavioral healthcare landscape, Integrity House engaged the Impact Collaborative to lead a strategic refresh process.
Approach: After engaging Integrity’s Senior Management, Board of Trustees, staff, clients, and industry experts in a research phase, we assessed Integrity’s strategic plan against changing market conditions, made recommendations on modifications to the plan, and developed an implementation roadmap based on those recommendations.
Results: One of the five key recommendations that emerged from the strategic refresh process was the need for Integrity to develop and deploy an effective marketing communications strategy. Based on findings from the strategic refresh, and a comprehensive communications audit, we developed a marketing strategy and tactical plan for Integrity that was adopted by the Board of Trustees and is set to launch in 2017.
